SHS Airsoft Steel Cut Off Lever for Version 3 Metal Gearbox AEGs

This is a precision machined SHS Steel Cut Off Lever for Version 3 metal gearbox AEGs. This Steel Cut Off Lever should fit in most Version 3 metal gearboxes without any modification. The steel construction makes this cut off lever twice as strong as normal zinc alloy cut off levers. The SHS Steel Cut Off Lever is extremely sturdy and precisely machined, ensuring that it fits perfectly in Version 3 gearboxes.

The cut off lever is a mechanical piece of the gearbox responsible for semi-auto fire. When you pull the trigger the sliding contact bridges the gap between the gun's main trigger contacts - once the gearbox has cycled once, the cut off lever pushes the trolley away from the trigger contacts, stopping the gun from firing. To shoot again, you need to pull the trigger each time.

In many guns this part is made out of weak pot-metal which over time wears down. The big symptom of a worn cut-off lever is the loss of semi-auto fire. If this happens then it's time to replace your cut off lever.

This particular one is manufactured by SHS out of steel, and is much stronger than the factory original. It is only for V3 gearboxes (G36, AK, MP5K etc), and fitment requires disassembly of the gearbox.
