Bell KAR98k With Scope Wood Wersion Full Metal Sniper Rifle

The Karabiner 98 Kurz (often abbreviated Kar98k, K98, or K98k) was a bolt-action rifle adopted as the standard infantry rifle in 1935 by the German Wehrmacht and was one of the final developments in the long line of Mauser military rifles. Seeing extensive use in WWII, it opposed the American M1 Garand and British SMLE. As a bolt action weapon it was out shot by the auto-loading M1 Garand but its larger more powerful 7.92x57mm IS cartridge made it highly accurate and very powerful.

This is a spring bolt action weapon; BBs are loaded one into each of the 5 metallic shells. The bolt is pulled to the rear and the shells are loaded into the internal magazine from the top. Pushing the bolt forward can be a tad stiff as this action cocks the spring. Upon firing the pellet, racking the bolt will eject the spent case and the cycle starts over.

There are certainly a variety of high quality Kar98K replicas in the Airsoft market and this is defiantly not at the top of the list but it looks the part and it does load shells and shoot BBs (spring powered, 300fps). Each shell accommodate a round of 6mm Bullet that will eject after pulling the coking lever, just like the real steel does, Pump-Action Mechanism (PULL - Shell Insertion/Ejection & PUSH - Air Cocking),
